Preparation
This BIO Ghee offers excellent durability and temperature resistance, ideal for industrial processing and storage.
Preparation of BIO Ghee (Clarified Butter) for 20 kg
- Preparation: Melt 20 kg of BIO-Butterfett in a large pot over medium heat. Make sure the temperature is not too high to avoid burning.
- Clarifying: Once the butterfat has melted, reduce the temperature and let the fat simmer slowly. During this time, foam will form on the surface, which should be regularly skimmed off.
- Filtering: After about 45 minutes, when the fat looks clear and golden yellow, strain it through a fine sieve or a muslin cloth into clean containers to remove the solids.
- Cooling and Storing: Let the clarified butterfat cool to room temperature, then pour it into airtight containers. Store in a cool and dry place.
