As this organic thick juice is carefully thickened under vacuum or concentrated, its properties (taste & colour) are optimally preserved. Due to the high sweetening power of this apple juice concentrate, it is very successfully used as a natural alternative to granulated sugar, etc. A consistent quality is ensured all year round through the targeted selection of varieties. After adding water, the concentrate yields 100% apple juice.

These BIO Apple Berry Rice Cakes offer an innovative combination of fruitiness and crispiness, suitable as both a snack and a healthy breakfast. The use of apple juice concentrate gives the waffles a natural sweetness and extends the shelf life through reduced moisture.

Preparation of BIO Apple Berry Rice Cakes for 50 Servings

  1. Prepare Rice Mixture: Mix 8.85 kg of Reis* gepufft with 990 g of BIO-Apfelsaftkonzentrat Apfeldicksaft in a large mixing machine until all grains are evenly coated.
  2. Shape: Put the mixture into an industrial rice cake machine and press into waffles at medium pressure.
  3. Dry: Dry the shaped waffles at 120°C for 30 minutes in a convection oven to reduce moisture and extend shelf life.
  4. Package: After cooling, pack the waffles in airtight containers to preserve freshness.
