Preparation
These BIO Hummus Chips offer a crispy, healthy alternative to traditional snacks. They are rich in plant-based protein and fiber and support a conscious diet.
Preparation of BIO Hummus Chips salted for 50 servings
- Prepare organic chickpeas: Soak the chickpeas in water overnight. Rinse the next day and cook until soft in a large pot with fresh water. Then drain and let cool.
- Make rice mixture: Cook BIO-Reis with water until it is soft. Let it cool and puree it into a homogeneous mass with the cooked chickpeas.
- Prepare dough: Mix the pureed mass with BIO-Sonnenblumen-KERNÖL and BIO-Salz, unjodiert (Atlantik Meersalz). Roll out the dough evenly on baking paper.
- Bake: Cut the rolled out dough into chip shape and place on a baking tray. Bake at 180°C convection in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the chips are crispy.
- Pack: After cooling, pack the chips in airtight containers to preserve freshness.
