Preparation

This BIO Kale Pesto offers an innovative combination of nutritious kale and high-quality organic oils, ideal for health-conscious consumers and as a versatile companion in gastronomy.

Preparation of BIO Kale Pesto for 20 Servings

  1. Kale thoroughly wash and remove the leaves from the stems. Roughly chop the leaves.
  2. Almonds and pine nuts roast in a pan without oil over medium heat until they are lightly browned. Let it cool.
  3. In a powerful blender, mix kale, roasted almonds, roasted pine nuts, BIO-Olivenöl nativ extra, and BIO-Sonnenblumen-KERNÖL together.
  4. Add BIO-Salz, unjodiert (Atlantik Meersalz) and Acid regulator: lactic acid and puree into a smooth paste. If necessary, add more oil to achieve the desired consistency.
  5. Fill the pesto into sterile jars and cover with a layer of olive oil to extend the shelf life.
