Preparation
This BIO Kale Pesto offers an innovative combination of nutritious kale and high-quality organic oils, ideal for health-conscious consumers and as a versatile companion in gastronomy.
Preparation of BIO Kale Pesto for 20 Servings
- Kale thoroughly wash and remove the leaves from the stems. Roughly chop the leaves.
- Almonds and pine nuts roast in a pan without oil over medium heat until they are lightly browned. Let it cool.
- In a powerful blender, mix kale, roasted almonds, roasted pine nuts, BIO-Olivenöl nativ extra, and BIO-Sonnenblumen-KERNÖL together.
- Add BIO-Salz, unjodiert (Atlantik Meersalz) and Acid regulator: lactic acid and puree into a smooth paste. If necessary, add more oil to achieve the desired consistency.
- Fill the pesto into sterile jars and cover with a layer of olive oil to extend the shelf life.
