This BIO tomato sauce offers an excellent balance of taste and freshness, ideal for use in catering or retail. The use of high-quality organic ingredients ensures a long shelf life and an intense flavor.
Preparation of BIO Tomato Sauce with Basil for 20 Servings
- Preparation: Cut the BIO-Onion Strips into fine cubes. Soak the BIO-Carrot Granules (Grits) in hot water.
- Creating the Tomato Base: Mix BIO-Tomato Paste 28TS with water to create a smooth base.
- Cooking: In a large pot, heat BIO-Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sauté the onions until translucent. Add the soaked carrots and briefly sauté.
- Preparing the Sauce: Add the tomato base to the pot and stir well. Season with BIO-Crumbled Basil and BIO-Salt, non-iodized (Atlantic Sea Salt).
- Simmer: Let the sauce simmer over medium heat for about 30 minutes until it reaches a thick consistency.
- Packaging: Fill the hot sauce into sterilized jars and seal immediately.
Important: The sauce can be stored for several months in a cool place.
