This BIO Date Hazelnut Cream offers a unique combination of natural sweetness and nutty flavor. It is versatile as a spread or ingredient in desserts and stands out with its simple, natural ingredient list from other products.
Preparation of BIO Date Hazelnut Cream for 20 servings
- Soak dates: Soak 1 kg of BIO-Dates without pit in warm water for 30 minutes to soften them.
- Roast hazelnuts: Roast 800 g of BIO-Hazelnut kernels whole in the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes until they are golden brown. Then let them cool down.
- Mix: Drain the soaked dates and puree them together with the roasted hazelnuts and 100 g of BIO-Cocoa powder raw 10 – 12 % alkalized in a powerful blender until a smooth cream is formed.
- Bottle: Fill the cream into sterile jars and seal well.
- Storage: Store at room temperature or in the refrigerator to extend the shelf life.
