Preparation

This BIO Pesto Verde impresses with its fresh, natural flavors and the use of high-quality organic ingredients, which allow for a long shelf life and easy scalability for wholesale.

Preparation of BIO Pesto Verde for 20 servings

  1. Preparation of ingredients: Weigh all ingredients and have them ready.
  2. Chop the basil: Put BIO-Basilikum gerebelt into a blender and chop coarsely.
  3. Roast the nuts: Lightly roast BIO-Walnußkerne Hälften, BIO-Cashewnüsse ganz, and pine nuts in a pan without oil to intensify the flavors.
  4. Mix ingredients: Add the roasted nuts, BIO-Olivenöl nativ extra, BIO-Hartkäse, BIO-Salz, unjodiert (Atlantik Meersalz), and BIO-Knoblauchpaste classic to the basil in the blender.
  5. Puree: Puree everything into a smooth mass until the desired consistency is achieved. If necessary, add more oil to adjust the consistency.
  6. Bottle: Fill the pesto into sterile jars and seal well.

Shelf life: Stored cool and dark, the pesto is shelf-stable for several weeks.
