Preparation

This BIO Kids Tomato Sauce offers a child-friendly recipe with a high proportion of tomatoes and natural sweetness from apple juice concentrate. It stands out due to its long shelf life and the use of exclusively organic ingredients.

Preparation of BIO Kids Tomato Sauce for 50 Servings

  1. Preparation of ingredients: Mix 79% BIO-Tomatenmark 28TS with 10% BIO-Apfelsaftkonzentrat Apfeldicksaft in a large container. Add 5% BIO-Sonnenblumen-KERNÖL.
  2. Sautéing the vegetables: Heat the sunflower oil in a large pot and add 5% finely chopped BIO-Zwiebelstreifen and 5% grated BIO-Karottenpulver. Sauté the vegetables over medium heat until they are soft.
  3. Simmering the sauce: Add the tomato paste mixture to the pot and let the sauce simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  4. Seasoning: Add BIO-Oregano gerebelt, BIO-Pfeffer schwarz gemahlen griffig and BIO-Salz, unjodiert (Atlantik Meersalz) to taste.
  5. Bottling: Pour the finished sauce into sterile jars and seal them immediately. The sauce is shelf-stable for up to 12 months.
