Preparation
This recipe provides a healthy and balanced meal for toddlers from the 12th month, which is characterized by the use of whole grain spaghetti and vegetables. It is ideal for batch cooking and can be easily portioned and preserved.
Preparation of BIO Spaghetti Bolognese, from the 12th month for 20 servings
- Preparation: Cut the carrots into fine cubes. Peel the parsnips and also dice them.
- Cooking the Spaghetti: Cook BIO-Dinkelvollkornspaghetti in boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Preparing the meat sauce: Heat the BIO-Raps-KERNÖL in a large pot. Sauté onions and carrot cubes in it until they are soft. Add the beef and fry until crumbly.
- Tomato sauce: Add BIO-Tomatenmark 28TS and parsnip cubes to the meat mixture. Fill up with water and let simmer until the sauce has thickened.
- Adding whole grain rice flour: Stir in the BIO-Reis-Vollkornmehl to bind the sauce.
- Finalizing: Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and mix well.
- Portioning: Divide the Bolognese into portions and vacuum seal or freeze for longer shelf life.
