Organic ground cinnamon Ceylon
Cinnamon is the inner bark of the cinnamon tree, which belongs to the laurel family. The bark is used as a spice: dried as sticks and ground as cinnamon powder. The Ceylon variety is somewhat milder, sweeter, finer and more aromatic than cassia. The low coumarin content also speaks in favor of this Ceylon cinnamon.
