Dried oil-bearing seeds of the nutmeg tree - "nutmegs" - from certified organic farming are freshly harvested, cleaned, processed and gently ground. As only fresh nuts are harvested directly from the tree (no old nuts that have fallen off the tree), problems with aflatoxins are prevented. By grinding in Europe, we ensure that only organic nutmeg kernels without shells are ground, thus achieving the best possible quality.
