Preparation

This pesto stands out due to its rich walnut note and the use of organic ingredients, which provide an intense flavor and make it ideal for wholesale.

Preparation of BIO Walnut-Tomato Pesto for 20 servings

  1. Preparation: Roast walnuts in the oven at 180°C for 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown. Let them cool down.
  2. Mixing: Add BIO-Sonnenblumen-KERNÖL, BIO-Walnußkerne Hälften, BIO-Tomatenflocken 9 mm, BIO-Knoblauchpaste classic, and BIO-Tomatenmark 28TS to a blender.
  3. Seasoning: Season with BIO-Salz, unjodiert (Atlantik Meersalz) and BIO-Pfeffer schwarz gemahlen griffig.
  4. Blending: Puree all ingredients into a smooth mass.
  5. Bottling: Fill into sterile jars and seal airtight. Store in a cool place.

Storage: Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
